The race
The premier superyacht regatta of the South Pacific will be raced over the emerald waters of the Bay of Islands come February, and we’re inviting you to take up the challenge.
The New Zealand Millennium Cup is set to deliver more excitement than ever before. To ensure the regatta is as easy as possible for our guests, we’ve set aside sheltered anchorages and have a tender service running around the clock. A selection of challenging courses make the most of the spectacular scenery; weaving through the island chains dotted through the Bay. |
An array of courses allows race officers to choose the exact course to make the most of each race day's weather conditions, with representatives of the ORC SY ratings system on hand to ensure the most competitive event possible.

“It’s a fun regatta with a competitive edge. You don’t need to spend thousands flying in rock-star crew, there are plenty of world-class guys locally who will jump at the chance to help you get round the track in one piece.” Captain Blair Macleod of S/Y Silvertip; previous New Zealand Millennium Cup winner
