Lufthansa Private Jet named “ Official Airline “ of the New Zealand Millennium Cup and Superyacht Cup Palma 2007
The superyacht industry will turn their attention on Palma, Mallorca, Spain between 16 – 19 June, when the Spanish port city plays host to the world’s most glamorous superyacht sailing event seen in European waters.
The airline will be one of the key sponsors for the double superyacht event, and will be the official airline for both the Superyacht Cup and New Zealand Millennium Cup. Close to 70 of the world’s leading superyachts will take part in the four day event.
The New Zealand Millennium Cup will take place on the last day of the regatta, and will be strongly supported by New Zealand superyachts. The New Zealand marine and sailing community have hosted the New Zealand Millennium Cup twice previously, in 2000 and 2003. The event has always been held between the Louis Vuitton Cup final and the start of the America’s Cup.
The partnership was sealed in Auckland on Monday at a signing of the agreement between Lufthansa Sales and Marketing Manager New Zealand and Pacific Islands, Anton Musin and New Zealand Millennium Cup Project Manager, Linda Berry.
